Robyn Dyer is an artist and art educator based in Bakersfield, California. She received her Bachelors of Art degree in Art Eduction from California State University Bakersfield under the mentorship of Joey Kötting.
Dyer creates paintings in both watercolor and oil, inspired by the oddities and nuances of nature and the colors and spirit of her home state, California. From mushrooms and bugs, to the warm colors and grit of the San Joaquin Valley, Dyer's work dances on the line between playful and intriguing.
Once a year, you will find Dyer down on the asphalt creating large scale chalk paintings during the annual Via Arte Italian Street Painting Festival that is put on by The Bakersfield Museum of Art. Her work has also been featured in the BMOA Visual Arts Festival, The Empty Space's Art Imitates Art show, and Metro Galleries' Latination Exhibition.
